Can I change a Reservation?
Yes - This can only be completed more than 48 hours before the first journey you reserved is scheduled to depart for megatrain.com bookings, meagbus.com customers must make any changes 24 hours prior to the first journey departure on the order. A £1 fee (50p amendment and 50p booking) is charged for all reservations being changed. The cost of the initial reservation will be credited against the subsequent reservation. Should the subsequent reservation be less expensive than the initial order, no payment or further credit will be made to the customer, all unused credit will be forfeited. If the initial amount paid is less than the cost of the subsequent reservation you must pay the difference when completing your new reservation.

What is my reservation number?
This is the number provided for travel it includes both your date and time of travel and can be obtained from the reservation confirmation email provided when the journey was first booked. You may choose to have it sent to your mobile phone (10p charge). Your reservation number must be produced on request by a member of staff. The reservation is only valid for travel between the origin and destination booked.

What is the Authorisation code?
This is a security code. In order to ensure that customers can only amend their own reservation we will issue a authorisation code when a amendment is requested. This will be emailed to you when you attempt to make an amendment.

What will it cost to amend a reservation?
A £1 fee is charged, this consists of a 50p amendment charge and a 50p booking fee.

Will I have to pay anything additional for my reservation?
If the new reservation is more expensive than the cost of the original (less the £1 fee) then the balance will be requested when the reservation change is completed.

Will I be credited if my new reservation if less expensive than the original?
No - should the subsequent reservation be less expensive than the initial order, no payment or further credit will be made to the customer, all unused credit will be forfeited.

Can I amend reservations made by telephone or at one of your offices?
No - only internet reservations can be changed.
